1. Use terminology that guests can understand.
2. Focus the site for guests; build ways for members to connect through subpages. Or consider two separate sites for each group.
3. Streaming video is very costly as opposed to posting for later viewing.
4. Use blogs for keeping up with active ministries in the church – mission trips, small groups, etc.
5. Feedburner.com: Take RSS feed from blog. Email delivery service that will email each post to readers mailbox. One church mails out daily devotionals at 5 a.m.
6. Ecommerce – registrations and online donation tools: serviceu.com, eventu.com, brownbagtickets.com, paypal.com, fellowshipone
7. One church that recently added online registration capabilities estimated that about 100 people would register online for the year. Ended up having 1,000 register online for 25 events.
